Description

My client, an international, market leading Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydrology and Environmental Management, is searching for a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join their Environmental Team based in Bristol.

It is essential that applicants have a strong numerical background including a PhD, MSc and/or and BSc in Geography, Hydrology or Environmental Science and preferably experience working on Environmental, Flood Risk, Coastal, River and Hydraulic Modelling Projects using Hec-Ras or ISIS.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing or reviewing Environmental Impact Assessments or Flood Risk Assessments.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to be trained by a friendly team of specialist Consultants and to assist with varied Environmental, Ecological, Water Resources, Hydrological, Flood Risk, Modelling and River Engineering Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

As a Graduate Environmental Consultant you will also be trained to complete;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Hydrological, Water Quality and Environmental Impact Assessments.
-Surface Water and Catchment Management Plans.
-Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS.
-Hydrological and Hydraulic analysis of sites.
-Drainage Strategy.
