SLR manages various surveying contracts in specific detail, Priding itself on understanding the importance of the client’s requirements for site surveys, setting out, and design, providing consistency with its professional AutoCAD capability
Therefore SLR land survey team is seeking a self driven and experienced land surveyor who can manage and carryout land surveys predominately within the Midlands and South of the country based at SLR Oxford office.
SLR currently provides Geomatic surveying throughout the country, offering our experience in a wide range of industries for topographical, Hydrographic and Building surveying services. Due to the nature of the work and sites visited, the role will require regular travel throughout the South East of England and potentially further afield and this may therefore mean that hours worked vary in accordance with the locations.
SLR Consulting is seeking to employ an enthusiastic team player with excellent attention to detail who will be trained to work alone or as part of a group and is keen to further a career in surveying
The Job role will be to assist in all types of Land surveying duties, the successful candidate will be trained in house and will gain suitable knowledge and experience in topographical, building surveys, setting out surveys, using the latest survey equipment Leica Total stations and Leica GPS survey equipment. The candidate will be required to have mathematical skills which will be essential as LSS and AutoCAD are SLRs primary software for surveying which he will be trained upon.
Technical Skills, Abilities, Experience:
•Surveying and or CAD Software
•UK Driving Licence
Education, Qualifications, Memberships:
- Recognised qualification
- Civil Engineering or Surveying based qualification (HND, BSc or equivalent)
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys learning new skills and undertaking challenging tasks.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills, positive work ethic and ability to work under pressure
